Player HIV Status
Notes: HIV status is self-reported, 1 person did not know their HIV status, 3 individuals did not respond to the question on HIV status.
There is moderate statistical evidence that older age is associated with HIV positivity. Respondents over 30 years old have approximately 10-fold risk of HIV infection compared with respondents that are 20-24 years old.
There is strong statistical evidence sexual identity is associated with HIV positivity. Respondents that openly-identify as MSM (including those who identify as bisexual) have approximately 7-fold risk of HIV infection compared to respondents that do not identify as MSM.

Player HIV Status Disclosure
Several players who are living with HIV feel comfortable disclosing their status because they received support from family members also living with HIV.
